Never give up

Today in class we watched a short film called “the butterfly circus". The movie is about a circus and the main character is a man without arms or legs. He is a part of another circus freakshow. The ringmaster of the butterfly circus meets Will, the man without legs or arms, and find him interesting, but Will don’t like the man, and think he’s just like any of the other persons coming there to laugh at him.

When he do realize who the man was he want to leave the circus he’s in and join the man, and he hides in the back of his car and when he is found the next day he is welcome, but can’t be a part of the show since he himself think he has no other talent than being a freak.

This is where the main theme in the story begins. It’s about Will who don’t think he will be able to do anything since he has no arms or legs, and the ringmaster knowing that he can. And in the end the ringmaster makes Will have to do something himself without help, by making him crossing a water in a wooden trunk, but he falls in the water midway over, and he finds out he can actually swim. This becomes Wills talent and he becomes a part of the show.

So the theme is about you never giving up, just believing that you won’t be able to do anything, but always keep trying and never care if you fail sometimes or even if you fail a lot of times, you just got to get up and try again and again.
